Lo Yumhmie Foods
About This Spot
Stepping into Lo Yumhmie Foods feels like finding a quietly vibrant corner of Appleton where the hum of everyday life slows just enough to welcome comfort and curiosity. This is a place where simplicity meets care—the kind of local Asian eatery where the warmth of the staff mirrors the kitchen’s steady rhythm, and every detail in the dining space hints at a thoughtful touch not often found in quick-service spots.
The pace here is unhurried yet purposeful. You’ll notice the friendly nods at the ordering window, the gentle clatter of utensils mingling with soft conversation, and the way tables fill with familiar faces and first-timers alike. It’s a setting that encourages both a quick lunch pause and a quiet meal enjoyed with company, framed by subtle but inviting décor that balances practical with a bit of charm.
The menu unfolds like a culinary story inviting exploration: bright and fresh papaya salad that carries a crispness matched by the lightness of spring rolls; richly layered notes in curry noodle soup and pho, where the broth speaks to traditions carefully preserved; and dishes like pork belly or steamed fish that reveal a dedication to authentic flavors and comforting textures. Drinks like bubble tea add a playful finish, bridging classic and contemporary tastes in an effortless way.
The true appeal, however, lives in the honest moments shared over a meal—whether it’s a first bite of pad see ew, a conversation sparked by an unexpected favorite, or the quiet gratitude of a well-seasoned dish served with genuine hospitality. This is the kind of spot where locals return not just for the food, but for that subtle feeling of belonging it quietly offers.

Amazing! I had never had Pad Thai in my life, and theirs was amazing! Their egg rolls were better than My Lee, and the service was very good! Everyone was super respectful, and the dining area was well decorated, which is uncommon for a restaurant like this.

Service was fast and efficient. You enter, order your food at the window and pay then go sit down. Loved all the food we ordered: egg roll, spring roll, curry noodle soup, laab, pork belly with sticky rice and Thai iced tea. Will go again next time I'm in town to try other dishes.

The husband and I have been eyeing this place for the longest time and we finally had a chance to give it a try. You will NOT be DISAPPOINTED! The food was on point. For those who love to eat pho, I highly recommend this place, their broth is clear not oily looking and the taste is perfect. One other dish that my husband highly recommend is their pork belly! The meat wasn't dry and the skin was perfectly crispy, you can hear that crunch when someone is biting into it. Also their pork delicacy the BEST so far I even had!

We drop in random restaurants and try new things. The people there are very kind and the place appears clean. Its a nice little restaurant and establishment. After eating the egg rolls and crab rangoons my wife and I had quite the upset stomachs. Im not sure what or why the egg rolls would do this to us. She never had any crab rangoons so that narrowed it down to the pork eggrolls. Its such a shame as they were so good tasting!!!

I dream about their food at night. The orange chicken and sticky rice. Oh my lawrd. I see the complaints about how long it takes but girl, it’s worth it, chill. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Tip: if you are dining in, order egg rolls and crab Rangoon and it comes out before the food to shut up the hangry. Plus they have some sweet cultural music videos going. If I committed a heinous crime and was put on death row, they would be my last meal request. I would eat just their rice alone! Their food is my happy place.
